The Dan Wootton Outspoken Club on X have been my rocks since I launched on GB News but were especially essential to my survival as I fought a deranged cancellation campaign and suspension from the channel in 2023.
The Club and its amazing moderators (Michael Cass, Darren Donaldson, Anna Ireland and Karen Hankey) kept the debate going on when I had been legally silenced.
One of the features I launched on the very first night of GB News, when I hosted the inaugural regular show on the fledgling network, was Greatest Briton/Union Jackass.
It was a way to keep the viewers with me until 11pm and reward the best and the worst of a day.
Even though the presenters who took my job hate the segment, the management have forced them to keep it going, but I’m told it’s just not the same.
