Think Nigel Farage is the one that has dementia, he is forgetting what people joined Reform for in the first place before he let Yusuf into the party.

To use Dementia against someone just to win points is a truly low blow. Rupert does not show signs of Dementia, but if he did - he should be afforded respect and the knowledge kept private. Farage has shown just how despicable a man he is.

It is my opinion that if Reform UK were to win the elections in 2029 it would be Zia Yusuf that would be Prime Minister and not Farage. I think that is what Reform are working towards - the first Muslim PM.

I voted for them in 2024, but I will not in 2029. I have 4 years to decide where to place my vote.

Rupert wouldn't be able to talk for that length of time on a range of issues if he had any hint of dementia. Come to think off it, the only time we hear Nigel speak at length these days is in a pre rehearsed speech or repeating soundbites. And if anyone asks him anything he doesn't like he seems to walk off in a huff!

Ben Habib appears to understand the British people better than Nigel Farage.

And once again Dan gives us the absolute FACTS. Thank you Dan. It’s such a shame, I have cancelled my reform membership over this treatment of Rupert. I’m politically homeless again now. How they can treat the best MP we have ever had like this is beyond me.

It will only take Robert Jenrick to lead the Conservatives and they’ll be back in power. He’ll need Liz Truss as his right hand.

I once loved Nigel. It is sickening to see how he is ruining the opportunity, a last hope really.

Maybe Farage is the one who needs his noggin checked?

Tice becoming questionable, previously it was the throw away, ‘that lot’. Now when asked a few days ago by Camilla Tominey if Lowe had dementia, lowered his head looking sideways and grin smirked, ‘ask him’. So it seems again that the leaders of ReformUK (Reform2025 in Companies Reg.) again seeing themselves as above others and integrity questionable.

This is all so disappointing. We put our trust and faith in Reform and they are changing before our eyes.

We really need hope now and steadfast, honest leadership, not this infighting and moving of the goalposts.

Blame Lowe , trouble maker

Expand full comment
Kat Harvey's avatar

He has no record of being a trouble maker. He is honest. If Nigel becomes PM he will just desert us like he has done before, only this time he will throw the reigns to his “brilliant” counterpart (who will have a Parliamentary seat by then) and leave us with our first Muslim Prime Minister. Do you not understand politics? Nigel will be a multi-millionaire and won’t care.

What a load of garbage. Nigel left before because we had Brexit and he thought his job was done . But Boris went back on his word . Nigel was already millionaire. And how can Yusaf become the pm when he is not even an mp !

Expand full comment
Kat Harvey's avatar

Not a load of garbage. Brexit was not done at all and Nigel abandoning us left us with only a half-Brexit from the Cons. He would have driven it through if he was serious. You don’t have any evidence that Nigel was a millionaire at that time; he has had problems from time to time. Finally, do you really think they won’t ensure Mohammed Ziauddin Yusuf gets a seat at the next election? Have you no ability to recognise political strategy at work?

Facts are facts. It was Rupert Lowe who was completely disloyal about Nigel Farage and called him 'messianic' and broke away from Reform by trying to compete with Farage. This was 100% wrong of him.

Expand full comment
Liz T's avatar

If you'd seenat close quarters how Farage operates, there is a very strong Messiah Complex at work. Reform was doing quite nicely before Farage decided it was essential for him to come out of retirement AGAIN to "lead" the party. But Nigel is all about Nigel and incapable of picking a team let alone leading one

Eleanor's avatar

Nonsense - Rupert, like Ben tried for many months to speak to Nigel behind the scenes to discuss policy etc but Nigel wouldn't even meet them. Rupert and Ben put country first and are right - Nigel is not interested in formulating policy, just being a showman. He wouldn't be able to get away with that if he did become PM.

What’s wrong with being called “Messianic”? It sounds like a compliment to me. Nigel’s rise has been extraordinary. It is not abusive to acknowledge it.

It was meant as an insult by Lowe, who obviously didn't like Farage being the 'main man'! I agree that Farage's rise has been extraordinary. No other politician that I know of can generate the enthusiasm that he does, and fill vast arenas like he has done.

Oh come off it - it is Nigel who has a long history of not being able to cope with anyone questioning him or taking a piece of his limelight. He always wants to be a one man band - how would he cope with the hundreds of MPs needed to win an election if he can't even cope with 5 MPs!

Expand full comment
Kat Harvey's avatar

History shows clearly that a previous politician who could fill arenas like no other was a disaster when the showmanship ended and real leadership was required. He also demanded total obedience and secrecy from his followers. Adolph Hitler. It is the same process at work. We need to avoid this.

This leaves a very bitter taste in my mouth, what a rotten thing to do to a man whether you agree with him or not.

As for GB news capitulating to Farage…pathetic! Journalism is all about reporting the facts and letting people make up their own minds about what they’re told. They’re all so captured by various elite and dark forces it’s unreal!

Thank goodness for Elon Musk I say, man isn’t perfect but at least he puts facts out there and gets shot down regularly for doing so but he keeps on sticking two fingers up to the extreme left wing machine. Journalists like yourself too Dan who take big risks in Starmer’s Stasi State, what an odious twerp he is 😏

Farage has pre cons for this sort of thing and it’s not good, voted Reform myself I was so sick of the useless Tories and I’ve never voted Labour in my life, don’t intend to start either. I was hopeful Reform would think first and foremost of their voters and the state UK is in, we’re on our knees and desperate for a saviour or saviours honestly thought Reform might be the answer.

Now am not sure at all, it would seem they’re no different to the other parties at their heart and that troubles me considerably.

Honour among men is so very important I feel and now seems lost among everything else we’ve lost from our identity over the last 30 years or so. There’s very little honour or truth out there especially among MP’s most of them have inflated egos, a huge sense of entitlement and a rampant disregard for the very people who vote them in.

Rupert Lowe strikes me as a man of honour and huge integrity, he listens and he cares, not afraid to say what we want our Politicians to say because then we know they’re listening to us and care about us.

What happened to caring? It’s gone from so many institutions and people…why? Why do those in charge care so little about the great British public 🤷🏼‍♀️ am appalled by much of what I see and hear. Men of honour are long dead as are women of honour and we’re left with a very sick country and a sicker seat of power.

Westminster is a huge swamp full of alligators 🐊 it’s take all give nothing back.

Quite frankly why do we bother to vote any of the swamp in? They’re absolutely disgraceful, utter scum some of them and they tell us we need to cut our cloth, be cold and hungry and get on our bikes! How bloody dare they, they’re take, take, take, a complete set of bandits.

We need a political revolution, clear out all the dross and make sure we have people in the swamp who actually care about us, the British people who pay their sodding wages and pay for all their outlandish ridiculous piss taking nonsense.

What a den of iniquity 😏 lie through their teeth and rob us blind…cretins.

I've been trying to imagine what's happening inside the head of NF. He clearly knows that RL is not suffering from dementia but has stuck with the story anyway. If I was him I would be thinking "what do the people around me think of what I'm doing? They know it's a lie". I would be embarrassed. And that's before the reactions came from all over the country/world. I would be even more embarrassed to see and hear all the disgust expressed. Doesn't he care? Did he really think he wouldn't be found out? Is he shameless? Or was this lie not started by him but by someone close to him? Has he lost control?

I don't understand all the people commenting on here that everyone should stop talking about this and just shut up - because they want Reform to run the country. REALLY?! Haven't they heard of falling out of the frying pan and into the fire? Do you really trust Farage and Tice after this despicable lying campaign to destroy a good man? How is that any better than the awful Liebour communists or the slippery weaklings in the Con Party? We have to demand transparency, integrity and TRUTH. Courage is essential. None of those requirements are being displayed by the Reform Party leadership. Think again, everyone, and insist on men and women who will really do what the country needs. If you haven't watched Dan's conversation with Rupert this evening please do - and note that he focuses, time and again, on the COUNTRY, not himself. Also note Farage's flip-flopping and rude refusal to consider the legitimate concerns of the GBNews viewers when told they are upset about his treatment of Rupert. Also that Rupert says he would have done anything to support Nigel before this all happened. I was a keen supporter too - but now I see who the man really is - and I'm disgusted.

Anyone who thinks that they can forget Net Zero while they sort out Reform to make it perfect before kicking out the Uniparty? Today the 44Gw+ of VERY EXPENSIVE Windmills and Solar Panels was 28Gw short of the 34 Gw demand. 6.2 Gw was ALL they were producing. Unless we stop scrapping reliable power generation capacity sometime this year (according to David Turver on his Eigenvalues substack) our reliable capacity will fall below our peak demand, then, probably one freezing winter night IF not before all that is required is one of those plants to be taken down for any reason AND the grid is likely to fail as it can't be balance by Windmills.
