In order to get into government, Reform has to attract a significant number of votes from the soft centre - people who consider Tommy Robinson toxic, who were in favour of COVID restrictions and vaccinations, who are worried about immigration but don't like "racist" comments about immigrants. If Reform is to be more than a transient protest group, current Reform members need to realise they won't get everything they want in the next GE manifesto. Are they mature enough to grasp this?

Farage gas the best political antennae of any current UK politician. We need to trust his judgement.

Do not underestimate Mr Jenrick, who has more coherent policies than the estimable Mr Farage, and between the pair of whom the future of the realm exists.
